Its been a busy festive season period with lots of football and our first Central Coast Mariners Official Supporters Club match day event.

As you will know from our previous email, our official launch is on this Sunday at Soccer5s from 3.30pm and we hope this will be a great opportunity to meet and socialise with other Mariners fans.

A reminder that members can collect their membership packs at this function and if you have family or friends who haven't joined yet, bring them along, we'd love to have them. Our membership officer will be ready to add them to our cause.

For those who have received your membership cards, don't forget to make sure you have signed them – we will expect you to present your signed card to receive a discount when you purchase sausage sandwiches at the launch. In the future this will also be used to facilitate counting votes at CCMOSC General meetings and the Annual General Meeting.

Official Supporters Club Progress Update:-

As we have advised in our previous email, we believe the Dress like a Pirate day was highly successful and we will be seeking to make this an annual event on the Mariners calendar each January.

Despite the changes which are happening in terms of the management of the Central Coast Mariners, our committee continues to work with the Mariners to ensure they provide the proper relationship we believe is needed with their Official Supporters Club. With the recent appointment of a CEO – Bruce Stalder and other discussions about changes in the board we will be continuously reviewing how we are relating with the club and where necessary seeking commitment from the club in this regard. We believe our primary function is to provide fans a link to be heard by Mariners management and will vigorously pursue ensuring that continues.

CCM Feedback Update:-

We want your feedback. After this home game email us and let us know what you like and your suggestions on how you think your experience can be improved. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Details about previous feedback:-

Activities outside the stadium – The council is now taking responsibility for organisation of outside stadium activity and we expect they will be working to improve this for the remainder of the season

Loose Cannon – the match day paper made a return at the Melbourne Heart match and we expect the club will ensure it is provided for each home match in future

New feedback:-

The possibility of having a sign – "Home of the A-League Champions" visible to spectators and TV audience at the stadium for the remainder of the 2013/2014 season

Continuing concerns about speed of service issues with the food and beverage vending at the stadium

Improvements in the merchandise tent to allow fans more space to review and purchase CCM merchandise

Some reported stadium maintenance issues

Continuing requests for any firing of the cannon to be shown on the FOX TV coverage

Hope to see you at the launch.
