Sponsorship

The Central Coast Mariners Official Supporters Club (CCMOSC) was set up in conjunction with the Central Coast Mariners to provide a visible entity for fans to engage with the Club and be involved in a more formal relationship. One our key aims is for CCMOSC to generate year-round interest in the Mariners.

The Mariners have long been recognised as a leader in community involvement in the A League and we see the CCMOSC as an important piece of that engagement with the Central Coast community.

Our focus will be to give something back to the fans of the club and our greater community, whilst at the same time seeking ways to engage new fans of the Mariners.

We intend to get as many people as possible involved with the Supporters Club in some capacity, be it as financial members or purely as volunteers in one of the many community-based ideas that we are seeking to realise.

We are therefore looking for local businesses to partner with CCMOSC as sponsors, in order to assist us financially and physically in what we are trying to achieve.

We are building toward forming working relationships with a number of local charities, including:

  • HeadSpace Gosford
Part of the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing young people between the ages of 12-25 with the necessary help they need when they are going through tough times.

  • Coastal Shelter
A brilliant organisation, providing help to men, women, families that need food and accommodation on the Central Coast.

Our aim is for the CCMOSC to be much more than just about supporting the Central Coast Mariners and we therefore aim to support the Central Coast community in any way we can.

Loyalty Program

Summary

In order to assist in broadening the appeal of the CCMOSC and to provide members with some further level of membership benefit, the CCMOSC is introducing a loyalty scheme that will be accessible to any financial member of the CCMOSC.

Outline

CCMOSC is interested in conducting discussions with any local Central Coast businesses, where it is understood that the owner/franchisee may have an interest in the Central Coast Mariners, in order to encourage their agreement to participate in the CCMOSC loyalty scheme.

For those businesses that are prepared to provide CCMOSC with an appropriate level of sponsorship, the CCMOSC will advertise and promote the concerned business as being a partner of CCMOSC on its website and social media platforms.

The association between CCMOSC and any partner businesses is to be renewed by mutual consent on an annual basis, subject to payment of the annual scheme fee as advised by CCMOSC from time to time. Renewal of loyalty scheme membership for all partner businesses will fall due on the anniversary of entry to the scheme. Contact will therefore be made by CCMOSC with all existing partner businesses at least one month prior to the renewal date of each membership, in order to arrange for renewal of partner business membership.

On presentation of a valid CCMOSC membership card, partner businesses will be expected to provide any CCMOSC members with a discount of its choice in relation to any purchase made by a member (with the suggestion being 5-10%). Partner businesses may, at their discretion, elect to run promotions offering increased member benefits (discounts) from time to time (such as EOFY or Christmas) and CCMOSC would accordingly undertake to promote any such opportunities to its members via the most appropriate method.

CCMOSC will encourage its members to support our partner businesses wherever possible and will also work with them to promote any mutually beneficial activities or opportunities.

New partner businesses may join the scheme at any time, however, CCMOSC will seek to ensure that there is no (or at worst only very limited) potential conflict of interest for partner businesses, by limiting the type and number of businesses that are admitted to the scheme in any given area, however, given the relatively large catchment area involved, this is not expected to be a major issue.
